<p>White Sea Branch of Zoological Museum of M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University is based on the N.A. Pertsov White Sea Biological Station of M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University (Primorskiy settlement, Republic Karelia, Russia). This is a collection of invertebrates, primarily from the White Sea and other seas of the Russian Arctic. The collection contains more than 11,000 collection items and over 40,000 invertebrate specimens, including type specimens. The collection includes: formalin and alcohol-fixed material, micro preparations, DNA samples. Most of the collection material is contained in alcohol and is suitable for molecular genetic studies.</p> <p>Acknowledgements:</p> <p>We are grateful to people, who participate in collecting, taxonomical identification and catalogisation of the material. The disseminated dataset stems from an automatic treatment applied to data coming from GBIF. INPN rules, and more generally SINP rules (in terms of perimeter and data quality controls) may imply that the whole of the source dataset might not be provided on the SINP platform.
